Carsyn Olivier, B.A., B.S.
Project Coordinator
Carsyn graduated from Tulane University in 2023 with degrees in Psychology and Spanish. At Tulane, she studied developmental psychology as a Research Assistant in the Learning and Brain Development Lab. She worked in research on selective attention in young children and attention orienting/holding in infancy through eye-tracking studies. Her years as a peer mentor in college and as a mentor/sex educator for adolescent girls shaped her research interests in protective and risk factors affecting the mental and physical health of LGBTQIA+ youth. Outside the lab, she enjoys trying new restaurants, taking dance classes with her partner, and keeping up her 2+ year-long Duolingo streak.
