Carsyn Olivier, B.A., B.S.

Project Coordinator

Carsyn graduated from Tulane University in 2023 with degrees in Psychology and Spanish and a minor in Jewish Studies. At Tulane, she was a Research Assistant in the Learning and Brain Development Lab and worked on studies on selective attention in preschoolers and attention holding/orienting in infants. Her years as a peer mentor and sex educator for middle school girls shaped her research interests in the development of sexual orientation, gender identity, and protective/risk factors affecting the mental health of LGBTQIA+ youth. Outside the lab, she enjoys trying new restaurants, taking dance classes with her partner, and keeping up her year-long Duolingo streak.
