Carsyn Olivier, B.A., B.S.
Project Coordinator
Carsyn graduated from Tulane University in 2023, earning degrees in Psychology and Spanish with a minor in Jewish Studies. At Tulane, she was a Research Assistant in the Learning and Brain Development Lab; she worked in research on selective attention in young children and attention holding/orienting to faces in infancy through eye-tracking studies. Her years as a peer mentor in college and as a mentor/sex educator for adolescent girls shaped her research interests in protective and risk factors affecting the mental health of LGBTQIA+ youth. Outside the lab, she enjoys trying new restaurants, taking dance classes with her partner, and keeping up her year-long Duolingo streak.
